Wreaths of Pumpkins
Put a burlap and batting wreath in the shape of an orange circle on your front door.
How many items do you require? “To make a wreath, you’ll need a Styrofoam wreath form; cardboard; scissors; glue; cotton batting; orange burlap; black adhesive-backed craft foam; green ribbon; and fishing line.
Create It: Apply hot glue to the back of a cardboard circle to cover the wreath form. A mound of cotton batting should be about 2 inches high when placed on a level surface, with the cardboard side down “higher than the shape of the wreath itself. Cut 15 to 20 3″x20” pieces of orange burlap for the wreath’s wrapping. Glue one end of each strip to the cardboard back’s center, then wrap the garland with the other end and glue it. Repeat with the remaining strips. Work in a circular motion until the form is entirely coated in burlap, then repeat for each strip. Apply hot glue to the rounded side of the wreath to attach facial features made from craft foam. Pumpkin Lanterns in Paper Form
Display a patch of pumpkins on the porch or in the ceiling. Hang paper lanterns with fishing line or painter’s tape by gluing on cardstock facial features (we found ours at pearlrivermart.com).

Topiaries of pumpkins
Use orange tulle to transform your porch topiaries into festive pumpkins.
What you’ll need to do: Items needed: 3″x1″ piece of bark (about 3″x1″), orange tulle, black adhesive-backed felt, scissors. Then do it: Wrap orange tulle around the top of the topiary until it is completely encased. Tuck the tulle tail under the bottom layer to keep it in place. The front of the topiary should include facial characteristics cut out of felt. Insert bark into the tulle stem by cutting an indentation in the fabric.

With adhesive, connect black buttons or beads to the orange fabric of your throw cushions.
The Tree of Horrors
If you’re feeling crafty, try stuffing some of your favorite holiday decorations into some plain white ornaments.
You’ll require the following items: The following materials are needed: crystal clear plastic craft ornaments, a permanent black pen, orange crinkle paper “and a green ribbon. Make It Yourself: Open the handmade ornament and use a permanent marker to sketch a pumpkin face on the inside of one side. To trace the features of an ornament from the inside out, place a scrap of paper on the round side and use a marker to design the desired face. A dab of glue at the bottom of the ornament is all needed to keep the crinkle paper, feathers, or pom-poms in place; allow to dry. String a little length of ribbon through the loop at the top of the pendant to make it hang.
Charming Speck-tacular Frames
You can brighten up your home office with a few orange pumpkin frames.
What You’ll need: Round photo frames, orange paper, scissors, a glue pen, black glitter, orange ribbon, and tape are all included. Remove the backing, the photo, and the glass from the frame to make removing it easier. Each jack-o’-lantern feature should be drawn using a glue pen and sprinkled with glitter before moving on to the next. A piece of orange ribbon long enough to wrap around the frame is all that is needed; attach it with duct tape on the underside. To display, remove the backing from the shelf and replace it.
